Data Deletion Instructions

Last modified: September 17, 2026

1. How to Request Deletion

To request deletion of your Performing Arts Marketplace account and the personal information associated with it, send an email to support@performingartsmarketplace.com from the email address associated with your account, with the subject line “Account Deletion Request.”

We will confirm your request by email and complete it within 30 days. If we need anything further to verify that the request came from you, we will tell you what and why before proceeding.

2. What We Delete

When we process your request, we delete:

  • Your account and login credentials, including the connection to the Google or Facebook account you signed in with.
  • Your name, email address, profile photo, phone number, mailing address, and date of birth.
  • Your display name, seller profile, and any ratings or review counts shown on it.
  • Any listings you created that have not been sold, along with their photos.
  • Any tax exemption documents you uploaded.
  • Your in-app notifications and email notification history.

Deleting your account is permanent. It cannot be undone, and we cannot restore your listings, ratings, or transaction history afterwards.

3. What We Keep, and Why

We keep records of completed transactions, including the order amount, date, and the name and shipping address used for that order. We are required to retain these for tax, accounting, and anti-fraud purposes, and the other party to each transaction has a legitimate interest in an accurate record of a purchase they made or a sale they completed. These records are retained for as long as applicable law requires.

Payment information is held by our payment processor, Stripe, not by us. Stripe retains what it needs under its own policies and legal obligations. Deleting your Performing Arts Marketplace account does not delete your Stripe account or the records Stripe keeps. See Stripe’s Privacy Policy for details.

4. Before You Can Delete

We cannot delete your account while you have unfinished activity on the platform, because deleting it would leave the other person in that transaction without a way to complete it. Please resolve the following first:

  • A checkout in progress. Complete or cancel it.
  • An order you have paid for that has not shipped yet. Wait for it to ship, or contact us to cancel it.
  • An item you sold that you have not shipped yet. Ship it, or contact us to cancel the sale and refund the buyer.
  • Listings that have not sold. Remove them, or wait for them to sell. Note that simply deactivating a listing is not enough — it still needs to be removed.

If you email us and something is still outstanding, we will tell you exactly what it is and what needs to happen before we can continue.

5. Deleting Only the Connection to Facebook or Google

Performing Arts Marketplace uses Google and Facebook only to sign you in. We receive your name, email address, and profile picture from whichever provider you used, and nothing else — we never post to your account or read your contacts, photos, or friends. If you would prefer we delete only the information we received from that provider rather than your whole account, say so in your email and we will do that instead.

6. Questions

For questions about this process, or about how we handle your information generally, email support@performingartsmarketplace.com or read our Privacy Policy.
